Interview with Speech-Less Author Matt Latimer

by: Michael Illions | October 20

Had an opportunity to interview former George W. Bush speechwriter Matt Latimer, who is the author of Speech-Less Tales of a White House Survivor, available at Amazon.
In Speech-Less, Matt tells stories that can’t possibly be true, but they are. Starting out working for a out of touch Senator, then a eccentric Congressman, then back to the Senate, before going to work for Donald Rumsfield, which led to his last job in the West Wing of the White House, working for the President himself.

Matt shared some of these stories last night during our interview and we talked about Ann Coulter, John McCain, President Bush, Secretary Rumsfeld, Condi Rice, Colin Powell, Dick Cheney, Laura Bush and so much more. It was great to speak to someone who was not only there, but was included in a lot of the things that went on, and we get an inside baseball view of things as they happened and the decisions made.

So sit back and have a listen, it’s well worth it.

    Great interview Michael!

You asked questions that elicited some very interesting and pointed responses about John McLame, Karl Rove, Barbara Bush and her staff, among others. Hoping you will do more of these.
