She was once the talk of the town and the love of the liberal left. Used by the liberals to push their anti-War and anti-Military agenda, she was invited to all the big events, while receiving high-fives and standing ovations from Hollywood elite morons and attending private parties at the fancy West Side Penthouse homes of some of the biggest liberals, in and out of the media.

My oh my, how times have changed. Cindy Sheehan, the “Peace Mom” and the face of the anti-War movement that helped catapult the Democrats back to power in the House and Senate in 2006, is now getting the door slammed in her face by the very same people who once held it open for her.

It all started after the 2006 elections with Sheehan actually believing that the Democrats would live up to their campaign promises of “defunding the War” and “Bringing the troops home immediately.”

Then Sheehan noticed something else was wrong. The friendly media that covered her “sit in” protests at the Bush ranch from dawn to dusk were now nowhere to be found when she held the same “sit in” protests at Pelosi’s San Francisco District Office.

Her phone stopped ringing, Hugo Chavez stopped hugging her, and the Hollywood Liberals stopped inviting her over for dinners. The spotlight had been turned off, yet the Iraq War remained ongoing!

Sheehan, realizing what we already knew; that the Democrats were a bunch of lying skunks who used her to further their own political agenda, decided to challenge former best gal pal Nancy Pelosi in the 2008 Primary.

Even after losing, Sheehan still fights against the War and now her anger is aimed at the Democrat controlled White House, House and Senate. She even has plans to protest at the vacation home of Barack Obama next week. But the once friendly media is no longer impressed with her plight:

In an appearance August 18 on WLS radio in Chicago, ABC News anchor Charles Gibson was asked about anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan’s plans to travel to Martha’s Vineyard next week, where she will protest the Iraq and Afghanistan wars while President Obama is vacationing there. Gibson, whose newscast and network featured Sheehan when she led anti-war protests outside President Bush’s Texas ranch in 2005, answered, “Enough already.”

I guess to them, the War is acceptable now that the Democrats are paying for it and Obama is in charge of planning it.
