RNC Chair ‘Open’ To De-Funding GOP Traitors
by: Mike Proto | February 23
Evidence that Michael Steele gets it. Watch here as Neil Cavuto probes Michael Steele on the issue.
The old saying was ‘Remember the Maine.’ Well, now it’s ‘Remember the Maine Senators,’ as well asĀ ’Benedict Arlen.’ Their betrayal will not be forgotten.

Good stuff!

February 23rd, 2009 at 6:56 pmAwesome from Steele. Shows that he may have been the correct choice after all for this position.
However, what the RNC doesn’t do, the NRSC is doing, as I posted today about how Cornyn, who is running the NRSC this next cycle is funding Snowe and Specter.
February 23rd, 2009 at 6:59 pmThat is why I haven’t given to the NRSC, and the NJ GOP for that matter, in years. There is no sense funding people that are working against you.
February 23rd, 2009 at 7:16 pmIf Steele does this, (I don’t believe that he will), I’ll change my mind about him and his past ties to RINO “It’s My Party Too” Christie Whitman.
February 23rd, 2009 at 7:23 pmRWR,
Totally agree.. But remember, that doesn’t mean money could be shuffled from the RNC to the NRSC to continue to fund RINO’s.
But I will try not to be to skeptical.
February 23rd, 2009 at 7:30 pmI am sorry but I did not hear anything new.
He said he would follow the lead of the state GOP bosses. The State GOP Chairmen are usually tied to these incumbents. Sometimes, like here in NJ, they support anti-conservative candidates. I did not hear him say that the RNC would stay out of primaries nor did he say the RNC would donate less money to candidates like Snowe, Collins, and Specter.
February 23rd, 2009 at 7:48 pmI guess I should have listened to it before complimenting Steele for saying it, lol
