Steve Malzberg Tanks It for Chris Christie
Right now I am totally disappointed with Talk-radio host Steve Malzberg. And no, not just because he is supporting Chris Christie for Governor of New Jersey.
I was enjoying a nice ride home in my car listening to Elvis Presley on Sirius-XM Channel 13 when I realized that Steve was supposed to have Ann Coulter on his show today. I know this because he spent almost 30 minutes on Friday bitching and moaning about how Sean Hannity supposedly strong armed Ann Coulter’s publicist to cancel Ann’s appearance last Tuesday on the show, but I digress.
So after reluctantly switching off The King, I moved over to commercial radio and tuned just in time to hear Steve Malzberg introduce Chris Christie to the show, and how blushingly gave Christie his 100% support for his candidacy.
Then came the questions, and boy, were they hard hitting.
Q1- Tell me your thoughts on the Court decision today that Governor Corzine does not have to release emails between himself and former girlfriend and Union leader Carla Katz.
Q2- How do you feel about the judges decision in the Bernie Madoff case, allowing him to stay in his multi-million dollar home awaiting trial.
Q3- What were your thoughts today on Ricky Henderson and Jim Rice being elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame?
Q4- What do you think about the latest news that Roger Clemens is being investigated for Perjury on whether he used performance enhancement drugs?
That’s it, 4 questions that make Katie Couric like a real journalist. And this from a guy who whined about how the MSM didn’t ask tough questions of Barack Obama.
Not one question about the economy, or taxes, or illegal immigration, or jobs, or small business growth, attracting businesses back to New Jersey and keeping residents from leaving New Jersey. No talk of tolls and property taxes and COHA or Abbott or ANYTHING relating to why someone at this time can make a decision to support this guy for Governor.
Steve Malzberg gets a FAIL for this interview and as far as I am concerned is a sell out to the establishment.

I am supporting Steve Lonegan, the only true conservative out of the republican candidates for governor. I am tired of RINOs and the republican establishment and will not support them. Dick Zimmer was another loser served up by the republican establishment. Thank goodness I live in Scott Garrett’s district. Garrett is the only real republican congressman in this state. Garrett will probably be opposing anything the democrats and Obama propose. That trillion dollar stimulus package should be opposed.
January 12th, 2009 at 8:31 pmWow, that’s surprising coming from Malzberg.
January 12th, 2009 at 10:09 pmMaybe he’s been hanging out with the liberal in sheep clothing, Michael Savage. I’ll keep it real with Laura Ingraham. It is surprising coming from Malzberg, but maybe he just knows where to put his stock. In all likelihood it will be Christie winning the primary, but i’m with Lonegan all the way!

I’m sure he’s losing a lot of sleep over that right now.
January 13th, 2009 at 9:07 amI really don’t understand some of your comments sometime and why you even bother.
We will see what happens when Malzberg responds to me Big Dino, yes, I have his personal email address.
If you knew your history of this blog, you would remember that Malzberg was a speaker at our first event in May of 2005.
Don’t be so flippant.

Forgive me. I have a life and as a result, I do not spend all of my time here so I was completely unaware of that.
Now, if you tell me that you have Jim Courter’s personal e-mail address, I’ll be REALLY impressed!
January 13th, 2009 at 9:39 amWe all have a life my friend, it’s a matter of managing the time correctly.
I don’t have Jim Courter’s email address, but I do have Jim Cornette’s, and that is much more valuable…
