Day 4: Still Nothing From Chris Christie

It has now been 4 days since Chris Christie announced his candidacy and put a smile on most of the faces of the NJ GOP establishment.
And it has also been 4 days without knowing a single position that Chris Christie stands for or will run on.
Is he still Pro-Choice and Anti-2nd Amendment like he was in the 90’s when he ran, and lost, for the State Assembly.
Does he really believe that illegal immigration is not really illegal or a crime, and just a paper work mishap, like he suggested at a press conference?
Does he really believe, like Jon Corzine does, that the answer to ‘Big Government’ is that there are to many towns/municipalities in New Jersey, again like he suggested at a press conference?
Who knows, because he ain’t talking and his website contains no information.
Christie is the 4th candidate to announce his bid for Governor, joining Brian Levine, Steve Lonegan and Richard Merkt as candidates in the June GOP Primary.

Why is your heart so full of hate, Michael? Something must’ve happened to you in childhood. Learn to love your fellow man – it’s very rewarding!!!
January 12th, 2009 at 10:49 amChristie is the anointed one for reasons still unknown to all of us. He has NO positions, even though we’ve got the likes of Tom Wilson and George Gilmore extremely confident that he’s the man for the job – and before that, they were all begging and pleading for him to run even though Steve Lonegan and Rick Merkt are already in the race.
Wilson and Gilmore must be closet Democrats. I’m convinced of it. Everyone they pick turns out to be a lame duck RINO who does little or no campaigning. I point to the embarrassment that was last year’s U.S. Senate race as a perfect example of this – they weren’t happy with Pennacchio or Sabrin and kept on grabbing at straws for candidates … when they found Dick Zimmer, they did absolutely nothing for him.
January 12th, 2009 at 11:10 amWhere do you see hate? It would be nice to learn what someone stands for when they announce that they want to be our Governor.
January 12th, 2009 at 11:14 amDi Marco,
Delusional is sure living up to his name, isn’t he?
January 12th, 2009 at 12:26 pmDelusional,
I don’t think my heart is filled with hate, anger perhaps, because of the NJ GOP establishment continually making the same mistakes in annointing candidates.
Not only annointing them, but to choose candidates who have not stated positions, and either are handpicked because of money and name power, and rarely for the right reasons like experience, winnability, following, Republican positions.
Running a Pro-Choice, Pro-Illegal Immigration, Anti-2nd Amendment candidate is NOT on any Republican Platform that I know of.
January 12th, 2009 at 12:29 pmDon’t sweat the ‘hate’ message Michael. It’s just code for a liberal who can’t engage in reasoned, honest debate.
January 12th, 2009 at 2:06 pmNo, you really are a hateful little man Michael. I follow this blog regularly, and everything is nasty or negative. One of your bloggers even attacked Abraham Lincoln recently? For awhile I thought this site was a joke. Can you blame me? Your logo is a little elephant with a wrestling belt.
Joking aside… “RINOs” are a problem. The GOP went astray and paid the price. But let’s learn another lesson of 2008… Democrats win by sticking together (recognizing that they agree on more than they disagree). You are an uncompromising, fanatical libertarian, and its people like yourself that will doom out 2009 chances.
January 12th, 2009 at 3:33 pmDelusional,
You used a lot of big words there. Did you hurt yourself?
