Defending the American Dream Summit: Steve Lonegan
New Jersey’s Mayor, Steve Lonegan, the President of the Americans for Prosperity’s New Jersey chapter, kicked off day 2 at the Defending the American Dream Summit in D.C.
Steve gave a very inspiring and moving speech, talked about the Democrats as central planners and how they are a hinderence to free markets and raising capital. He also mentioned how they put their own political future’s above the Country’s economic stability and success.
Lonegan pointed out Senator Chuck Schumer’s relationship with Indy Bank, Congressman Barney Frank’s relationship with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s reckless comments about the Insurance industry, which caused unnecessary havoc and panic.
Lonegan promised that over the next few years, New Jersey will return to prominence and will lead the rest of the Country back to prosperity and be the shining light for other States to follow.
